Cantor dust generator tool What is a cantor dust generator?
This tool draws the Cantor dust fractal. Cantor dust is a disappearing fractal that's created as follows – take a square and shred it into 4 smaller squares and place them in the corners of original square. Then remove the original square. The number of squares at each iteration increases fourfold but the area they consume decreases. As the number of iterations increases the squares turn into infinitesimal fine dust particles. This tool has multiple options to customize the dust fractal that you get – you can specify the number of fractal generations to create, choose fractal dimensions, choose three colors for background, squares and their border, change the border size and padding around them. Generate a Yellow Cantor Dust Fractal
This example draws white dust squares with a wide, brown 8px border on a yellow background. It repeats the recursive dust subdivision process for 4 iterations and you get 64 squares.
