What is a koch antisnowflake generator?

This tool draws Koch antisnowflake fractals. The Koch antisnowflake curve, also known as antistar curve, is constructed using the same principles as the regular Koch snowflake, except here every side of the starting equilateral triangle bends inwards at every iteration at 60 degrees rather than outwards. To better track the changes of every generation you can increase the size of the antisnowflake in the options. Use the download button to get a high quality image of the antisnowflake. You can set the thickness of the pen used to draw the snowflake and choose its color. You can also set the background to one solid color and change the color of inside area of the antisnowflake curve. You can also change the padding around the fractal and choose the direction in which the triangle will be begun to draw. Mathabulous!

Draw a 5th-order Koch Anti-snowflake Fractal

This example splits all sides five times at an angle of 60 degrees. As a result of this splitting some of newly formed polygons touch each other at tips that makes the fractal divide into smaller isolated islands.

Draw a Koch Anti-star Bottom Up

This example generates an inverted antisnowflake using 4 iterations. It sets fractal proportions to 1.2 by changing the antistar size 600x500 pixels and adds a large gap of 25px from the edge of the drawing frame.

Draw an Antisnowflake without a Contour

In this example we set the contour line width to 0 that makes it use only two colors for the fractal. Here the snowflake is constructed using 7 iterative transformations and with padding at snowflake extremities of 5 pixels.
