Quadratic cross curve generator tool What is a quadratic cross curve generator?
This tool draws quadratic cross fractals. The quadric cross fractal is similar to Vicsek fractal in the cross form. The drawing of the curve begins from a cross. Then with every iterative steps on each leg of the cross three squares are added and simultaneously each leg is extended. In this tool you can explore the behavior of the quadratic fractal for any number of iterations. As iterations incrase the new fractal features get smaller and smaller so you can adjust the width and height of the output fractal. The larger the dimensions of the fractal, the more clearly all elements will be visible. You can also choose the color for the cross, for the background, and for the border around the cross. If border's size is zero then only two colors will be used to draw the quadric fractal. One last option that we have is space between the legs of the cross and the edge of the image. Mathabulous!

Draw a Quadratic Cross Curve with a Contour
This example generates a green quadratic cross, with a black contour on a lemon-yellow background. There are 3 recursive quadratic expansions on a canvas of size 400 by 400 pixels.

Generate a Narrow Quadric Cross Fractal
In this example, the quadric cross has vertical legs longer than horizontal because the size of the fractal is set to 400x450px. It uses 5 iterative steps, padding is set to 15 pixels and cross's border to 0px.
